Over the past week, the resident’s have been working very hard to prepare for our Afternoon tea party to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee.

They all enjoyed making their own mini- queens, bunting and colouring pictures related to the Queens Jubilee which were all used to decorate the dining room for our Afternoon tea.

Paul, our head chef put together such a lovely spread for everyone today  (Wednesday 1st June). There were cocktail sausages, chicken goujons, sausage rolls, a variety of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and some lovely cake.

As you can see from the photos below, everyone had such great fun preparing for the celebrations and the Afternoon tea was delicious.
