Residents within the Nursing Home recently joined in a zoom session run through Vital Nutrition all about Good Mood Foods.
Jane McClenaghan was our host who talked us through some Top Tips to support our mood, our brain and to help us feel better, these included:
- reduce our sugar intake and be aware of hidden sugars
- cut down on white bread/pasta/rice
- try decaffeinated drinks
- eat more good fats – use olive oil instead of sunflower oil
- eat more green veg
- drink more water
Residents really enjoyed this session as you can see from our photographs below and we all learnt something new. We would like to say thanks to Jane and to Vital Nutrition for organising it.
