Creative Art & Music (Assistive Technology)

Activity Description

We organise interactive art sessions were residents get involved in making different art pieces which are displayed throughout their home. These sessions are tailored towards the needs of the group, a great sense of achievement is met as they see the end product that they have produced over the weeks. Most recently their art work was exhibited in the Island Centre in Lisburn at their art gallery.

Residents also participate in sessions run by a specialist independent provider offering music workshops in composition and performance skills using computer interfacing technology adapted to the physical and cognitive ability of the participants.
