A little Hello from the folks in Ballynahinch
We apologies for being a little quiet , we have been very busy over these past few weeks. We recently welcomed back our Reflexologist Katie, which all the residents were over the moon to see. Everyone loves going to have reflexology with Katie , it gives them some 1-1 time to relax in the social room breathing in the therapeutic oils and listening to relaxing music.
Robina has began knitting again, a hobby that she has stopped doing for a while but has found a new love for again. Robina is knitting herself a lovely throw for her bedroom. The residents continue to enjoy their weekly games of Bingo with their friends and the competition his getting higher every week.
Cottage C also celebrated Paula’s Birthday. Paula enjoyed having a lovely party in her cottage with all her friends from Cottage C. Everyone enjoyed the lovely birthday cake and party treats that evening along with some Karaoke. A great evening was had by all.
As it is the start of October we have started to look at our Autumn theme and we asked the residents what Autumn means to them and they all said they really enjoy dressing up at Halloween and having parties.
We will keep you updated with all the Autumn activities in the next couple of weeks.
We hope you are all keeping well and safe.
