
Handmade Christmas Trees
Christmas 2020 will definitely be a lot different to other years but here at the Beeches Nursing Home we are making sure that everyone has a great time whilst adhering to all the Public Health guidelines regarding covid-19.
Resident’s wanted to make a few Christmas decorations and came up with the great idea of creating handmade Christmas trees. Each resident had their own materials/equipment to make their trees with staff at hand to help out with any tricky bits.
First we got our cardboard strip, this was stuck at the top with some tape. We then covered the cardboard with our chosen paper, Karen and Desmond chose Christmas wrapping paper whereas David chose plain blue paper to cover his tree.
To finish off some colourful mini pom-poms were attached and the final piece turned out great as you can see from the photographs below.
