In March residents from the Nursing Home competed in the Boccia Tournament run through Disability Sports N.I. We recently received the certificates of participation in this event and felt it necessary to hold a socially distanced in-house Presentation to celebrate each resident’s achievement.

Karen, Michael S, Bernie, Roseanne, Gordon, Debbie, Desmond, Fiona, David and Lily had all competed and their hard work was rewarded when they each were presented with a certificate of participation and a fabulous drinks bottle from Staff Nurse Geraldine.

Our overall top scorer was Gordon with 30 points and he received an additional certificate from Staff member Jenny to celebrate his fantastic achievement in this event.

Well done to all those who took part in this competition.
