Santa Jingled all the way to the Beeches
The residents at the Beeches had a very busy and exciting Christmas. The residents took part in a Gingerbread house competition. The residents had to build and put together their house and then carefully decorate it. Each cottage done a fantastic job, so well we couldn’t choose a winner so every cottage won a box of chocolates. The residents enjoyed watching their favorite Christmas movies in the social room, along with Christmas music sing along sessions. The residents loved singing some of their favorite Christmas carols/songs, it really got everyone in the Christmas spirit. The residents got the opportunity to paint beautiful Christmas pottery pieces. Everyone chose lovely Christmas mugs, which some gave as Christmas presents and some kept them for themselves. Walter and Niall chose to do a canvas painting instead. The canvas was a Christmas Turkey and the Walter and Niall done an excellent job at following the instructions and creating a wonderful piece of art. On Christmas Eve Santa arrived ringing his bell and had a sack full of presents for the residents of the Beeches. Santa made his way round the residents wishing them a Merry Christmas and giving them a gift.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
