We have been very busy over the past few months at The Beeches Nursing home. We have been involved in various activities which we have all really enjoyed.

These included: Airdrying clay workshop with Jude – we made some lovely tortoises that we have displayed in our bedrooms, Lenny the barber – Lenny came to The Beeches on Monday 4th September when all the men enjoyed their morning of pampering.

Drake music project have been facilitating a music workshop every Thursday morning over the past few months. This is enjoyed by everyone and we all get involved in using the instruments and singing to make our very own song at the end of the workshop.

On Thursday 28th September, Catherine from the Amazon Jungle Show came to visit with all her animals and reptiles. Everyone loved to have them with us again this year. We all enjoyed holding and petting the tortoise, chameleon, spider, snake and the lizards.
