On Thursday 24th June ‘The Robins’ Team from the Nursing Home entered The Beeches Big Bonza Quiz, organised by Adele (Resource Centre staff). Our team members included: Karen, Gordon, Michael, Richard and Desmond.

Via Zoom with our fabulous compere Orla we played against 6 other teams – all within the Beeches either from Ballynahinch or The Resource Centre. We had to answer 6 rounds of questions and the knowledge within ‘The Robins’ Team was fantastic resulting in them scoring an impressive 34 points out of 36.

Overall we came in 3rd place and after a tie break we lost out to “The Smartie Ones” (Ballynahinch) who came in 2nd place and “The Blackstone Quizzards” (The Resource Centre) who won first place. A Goodie Bag was the prize for each member of the winning team and a certificate of participation awarded to all those who took part. Well done to everyone who joined in, you all did a great job.
