The Residents within the Beeches Nursing Home were delighted to receive some beautiful handmade Christmas cards from the children at our local Nursery. They had used their hand prints to make lovely reindeer, Santa and Christmas trees to decorate their cards. We displayed these on our notice board for everyone to see.

Karen, Fiona, Pat, Desmond and Patsy all picked out their favourite cards as you will see from our photographs below.

As-well as this we had a visit from Lisburn and Castlereagh Council’s Lord Mayor on 7th December who left us some great resources so we could keep busy over the festive period. They donated art and craft resources to make Festive Sun Catchers and plenty of traditional Christmas word searches, the residents had great fun both making the Sun Catchers and completing some of the word searches.
