Due to Covid and the increased need to prevent the spread of germs and viruses, we looked at the topic of “Hand Hygiene”.

We talked about how we can keep our hands clean every day to prevent the spread of germs and viruses and we used our colourful booklet to make the topic interesting.

Firstly, we enjoyed talking about the six steps of handwashing and how it was important to wash our hands properly every day. We then went on to talk about the important times when we should always wash our hands – e.g. after using the bathroom, before dinner and after sneezing/ coughing.

After we had a chat about this, we spent some time colouring in pictures associated with “Hand Hygiene”

This was our fun, educational topic of the month.
