As you can see from the photographs our sunflowers have grown so much over the past few weeks and when Karen was watering them she realised that there were loads of insects flying around each sunflower.

This gave us a great idea to go on a Nature Trail – So Rose Anne, Eamon, Karen, Fiona, Gordon, David and Desmond took to their heels and went hunting!!

We were surprised to see such a range of creatures in our garden, Karen made the list of what we saw and Fiona helped take some photographs of them.

We found: 1 dragonfly, 1 snail, loads of bees and butterflies, 2 lady birds, 1 magpie and a tiny spider. We decided to draw some of our favourite insects and these turned out just great.
