Over the past week resident’s within the Beeches Nursing Home have been having great fun celebrating Easter.
A fantastic Easter project was completed including: making daffodils out of egg boxes, making our very own Easter Bonnet, Easter art work/word searches/matching activities and mosaic work. All of this fabulous work was then displayed on our notice boards for everyone to see.
Our Easter Panto was an interactive online performance of Cinderella by ‘Panto Live’, this was projected onto a wall in our large dining room giving resident’s plenty of room to enjoy the show while socially distancing, resident’s all got a Panto Pack including information about the main characters, a quiz, lyrics so they could sing along with the songs and some work sheets about the Pantomime to complete.
Resident’s favourite Easter activity was our Easter Egg hunt on Good Friday, the weather was beautiful so residents brought the bags they had made during the zoom activities with their friends from the Centre and got out into our garden to go hunting for their Easter eggs. As you can see from our photos below they all had a great time.
We hope you all had a lovely Easter as-well.
