The Beeches Spooky Halloween Art Gallery
All our residents at The Beeches Nursing Home have been very busy over the past few weeks getting ready for Halloween. We have spent a lot of time creating our very own “Spooky art gallery” where all our wonderful work has been displayed on the notice board in the home.
Gordon, Fiona and Debbie really enjoyed making spiders from cardboard pots, colourful pipe cleaners, black paint and googly eyes. This was a very enjoyable and interactive activity for all involved.
We also coloured in some lovely Halloween pictures for our art gallery. This was a very therapeutic and relaxing activity for the residents which they all enjoyed.
Fiona, Gordon, David and Pat made lovely pumpkins which they coloured in so beautifully and stuck on the features to make them all original. This was a fun activity and we also had a lovely chat about Halloween and carving pumpkins when we were younger.
Everyone is very proud of the fantastic work they have done over the past few weeks in preparation for Halloween and their great work has been displayed on our notice board in the main sitting room for everyone to see.
Well done to all our residents at the beeches nursing home.
Have a look at the photos below to see how much fun everyone had making our art gallery.
